Nurcs is a product of Victory Stone, LLC. We each have families and share memories of building with our hands when we were kids, and feel the world needs more of that. We see a need for quality family time and , and we want to share our creativity with the world. Nurcs is about giving kids, teens, and adults a means of creating together or by themselves without boundaries, and turning the ordinary into the extraordinary.
We are homeschool families and love creating things with our hands. One day, a long time ago when Mike's son was young, he loved to build a character he called "Ninja Gator" with popsicle sticks and tape. An idea was sparked. “Why don't we make a connector system so you can build and reuse craft sticks without glue or tape!?” And so our journey began.
The Idea was to create a toy that was inexpensive and would allow kids and adults alike to build bigger things than they have ever built before. The prototype process began with 3D models converted to a format we could 3D print. This allowed us to figure out what size notches would fit best for a friction fit. We wanted the Nurcs to fit loose enough so children would easily be able to connect and remove them from the Craft Sticks, but also tight enough so they would hold together well. After hundreds of prototypes and many long hours, we were able to finalize the proper proportions. We have six standard pieces that allow people to build many different combinations of structures, and over seventy other combination pieces that may make there way into expansion sets down the road. The possibilities are endless and the quality will be long lasting. Our hope is that you enjoy building with Nurcs as much as we do, and create something that inspires others.
